Giving Medications To Pets

The wrong medication can be dangerous to your pet. Many drugs react differently in different species. Do not assume that a medicine given for yourselves or your children is good for your pet. Follow the directions on your pet's medication carefully. Antibiotics in particular should be given until completely gone. Do not save them for future use. Never give human pain killers to your pet - they can be deadly. Use only medicine prescribed by a veterinarian and keep all medications out of the reach of children and pets.
